North Texas developer Jackson-Shaw announced the completion of two buildings at ATX 130 Business Park in Southeast Austin. The 67-acre industrial park will have four buildings totaling 602,470 square feet when complete.
Stream Realty negotiated the lease of 20,440-square-foot Building 1 to Dallas logistics company Hotline Delivery in September. The company will start occupying the building this month.
Jackson-Shaw also completed 207,280-square-foot Building 3, which has a 32-foot clear height and 45 dock doors. Austin’s Aquila Commercial arranged the lease of the building to Ferguson a national distributor of plumbing supplies, PVF, waterworks, and fire and fabrication products headquartered in Newport News, Va. Ferguson will occupy the building and be operational this month.
The ATX 130 business park is near the Tesla Texas Gigafactory and 1.5 miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, a booming area for industrial development.
"The rapid lease-up of Buildings 1 and 3 at ATX 130 is a testament to the strength of the Austin industrial market and the quality of Jackson Shaw's development,” said Aquila’s Leigh Ellis.
The developers are also nearing completion of Buildings 2 (80,365 square feet) and 4 (194,385 square feet), according to a press release. Method Architecture designed the project, and Burton Construction is the general contractor. Both companies are based in Houston.
