A planned community in San Marcos, the bustling college town 20 miles southwest of Austin, just opened sales and model-home tours for its single-family houses.
Century Communities is developing the Pinnacle at Cottonwood Creek at 1229 Wild Leaf south of downtown San Marcos, which will offer 42 homes for prices starting in the high $200,000 range.

Houses are up to 1,845 square feet in size and come in four floor plans with with single- and two-story layouts. They'll have three to four bedrooms, two to two-and-a-half bathrooms, and two-bay garages.
The homes have contemporary open-concept layouts, secluded primary suites, spacious kitchens, and the builder's smart home package, according to Century Communities.
