After receiving feedback regarding its proposal to install a Thomas Dambo troll sculpture in Pease Park, the conservancy in charge is revising its proposal to the city of Austin. The Pease Park Conservancy website details a some of the input and how it plans to incorporate it.

Site Selection
Going forward, only the southernmost proposed site for the troll, just north of Kingsbury Commons, will be considered for the proposed installation.

Parking & Traffic Planning
The Conservancy will develop a parking and traffic management plan, detailing parking and logistics information that can be used by park visitors. This plan will detail available access to 500 nearby parking spaces on weekends, as well as onsite traffic management officers.

Local Talent Contributions
The Conservancy will work with the artist to identify ways that local organizations, volunteers, and artists can contribute to the design, construction, and programming of the troll.

Once the revised proposal is submitted to the City, its review will continue and we will keep you informed here as we learn more.
