Developers are set to bring a five-building, 900,000-square-foot industrial park to the tiny town of Creedmoor, about 20 miles south of Austin. San Francisco's March Capital Management, in partnership with Deutsche Finance America recently announced the acquisition and capitalization of the initial phase of 45 Logistics South, an industrial development off State Highway 45, and is ready to start building.
The logistics park is on a stretch of SH 45 between I-35, the SH 130 toll road, and U.S. Hwy. 183 and is intended to be convenient to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Tesla's Gigafactory, and downtown Austin. The project is fully capitalized, with construction set to begin in April.
Construction of the first phase of the project, which will consist of two buildings totaling approximately 400,000 square feet, will start this month, according to the companies. The planned industrial park will ultimately have five warehouse buildings and about 900,000 rentable square feet.
The development of 45 Logistics South will be Deutsche Finance America's first venture into the industrial sector, said DFA's Jason Lucas.
