The downtown property slated to be the site of Austin's first Conrad Hotel — and one of its tallest new buildings — is for sale.

Hilton-owned Conrad and Intracorp Texas announced last year that it planned a 65-story tower at 311 East Second Street and adjacent properties taking up half a block directly west of the Austin Convention Center. The properties are now for sale, Austin Towers reported Friday.

CBRE listed the half-block on East Second Street between San Jacinto Boulevard and Trinity Street for sale, according to the local real estate blog. The listing includes the site of the planned high-rise, which was on track to be the second-tallest tower in the city.

The planned 573,000-square-foot building was to be 750 feet tall, with 136 residences on its upper floors and 330 hotel rooms below and 10,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor amenity spaces, restaurants, and bars.

Second and Trinity, as CBRE is calling the offering, "is available on a fee simple basis and can be sold as a full half block, a quarter block or a 2/3 of a block for added flexibility, according to the listing, with the total site measuring 35,324 square feet (±.81 acres); smaller sites would be either 17,670 square feet or 22,956 square feet.
