Houston's Triten Real Estate Partners announced Monday that it’s purchased the Central Texas Logistics Center in San Marcos, about 35 miles south of Austin.

The 46-acre property at 1551-1600 Clovis Barker, near the stretch of I-35 between Austin and San Marcos sometimes called the Texas Innovation Corridor, has seven industrial buildings totaling 485,885 square feet.

The Hays County acquisition marks the entry of Triten, a real estate investment, development, and operating firm that specializes in supply chain logistics, into the Austin submarket.

“Triten continues to prove its tenacity in pursuing attractive industrial assets in coveted markets across the country,” Triten's Will Hedges said. “In the past year alone, we have broadened our traditional industrial and industrial outdoor storage portfolio to include properties in Atlanta, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. We are pleased to add Austin to that growing list, as we now find ourselves positioned in one of the fastest-growing counties in the nation.”

The logistics center is fully leased to 15 national and regional tenants, according to Triten.
