Infrastructure is “substantially complete” on Parkton Square, a planned community bringing 210 new homes to Kyle, the booming suburb about 25 miles southwest of downtown Austin.
Dallas' Landsea Homes has closed officially closed on the land and is set to start building three new model homes early 2025, the company announced. It expects to start sales during that period as well. It did not announce the price range of the homes.
The single-family homes will range from 1,400 to 2,900 square feet and have three to five bedrooms. Options will include first-floor primary bedrooms, vaulted ceilings, gourmet kitchens, and luxury showers. The attached condos will have three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms and range from 1,492 to 1,590 square feet. All the residences will have Apple HomeKit automation technology.
Located on the I-35 corridor between Austin and San Marcos, Kyle is one of the top three fastest-growing affordable suburbs in the country, with a 23.7 percent growth rate since 2020, according to a MoveBuddha report. Hays County is also one of the fastest growing counties in the country, according to U.S. Census data.
"Kyle provides a convenient housing alternative to living in Austin, as well as a great quality of life, ample parks and open space, and good school system with higher education opportunities,” said Landsea’s Jill Wasik.
