The booming suburb of Kyle, about 25 miles southwest of downtown Austin, gained another rental community Thursday with the grand opening of Arden at Kohlers Crossing.
The 16-acre development at 19500 I-35 has 263 studio and one- and two-bedroom apartments with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The gated Kohlers Crossing community has a dog spa, a fitness center, a pool, and an event lawn.
Dallas-based real estate developer Kalterra Capital Partners developed the complex, its third completed project in the Austin area. A rezoning allowed developers to build the multifamily project and add seven retail pads in front.
