Developers broke ground Tuesday on a four-building complex planned for an industrial-boomlet area just Southeast of the Austin city limits.

Houston-based Patrinely and Maryland investment company are developing the speculative project at State Highway 130 and McAngus Road near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Circuit of Americas F1 track.

The 439,300-square-foot complex will have four Class A buildings, according to a press release. Dubbed Airfield 130, the project is aimed at what Patrinely's Noam Newman called the "high-demand logistics market in the Southeast Austin airport submarket."

The 35-acre Airfield 130 complex will include four rear-load buildings ranging from 75,000-square feet to 150,000-square feet and designed to cater to industrial and logistics tenants that need access to regular shipments and arterial transportation options.

The project is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2025. KBC Advisors will handle the leasing under the direction of Dennis Tarro of Patrinely. Catamount Constructors is the general contractor.
