A coworking building that has been rising in East Austin over the past few months (no, not that one) is set the open this fall. Locally based Fuse Workspace is homing in on completion of its fourth Austin location and says its new building at 2105 East MLK Boulevard will open in September.

The three-story, 33,000 square-foot facility will have 126 private offices for one to six people; three private enterprise suites with three to seven offices each and space for 12 to 30 people; six dedicated individual desks; five meeting rooms
accommodating up to 16 people; and a coworking space with group and individual seating.

In contrast to the Malin East Austin in slightly tonier East Cesar Chavez, Fuse Workspace aims for a throwback-y, change-the-world vibe, according to a press release:

FUSE offers much more than an attractive, professional, convenient, and enjoyable office space. Coming from a hospitality background, FUSE seeks to be a launching pad that helps members make a greater impact with their businesses and their communities. The FUSE motto, “DO MORE®,” merges outstanding hospitality with business-class amenities, helping businesses and organizations thrive. An important part of that philosophy is FUSE’s DO MORE® Nonprofit Program. Each year, FUSE extends helpful benefits to selected local nonprofit organizations per location, including free meeting space and discounts on other services.

Private offices at the MLK location will start at $775/month. A limited number of large enterprise office suites with six private offices and a large bullpen area will also be available. The building will have a kitchen and café, patios, and a gym.

The general contractor for Fuse Workspace’s East Austin buildout is DKC Construction Group (Austin). L.M. Holder III (Austin) is designing the interior finishes in conjunction with Workplace Studio (Chicago).

The project is a joint venture between co-owners Fuse Workspace and the original building developer, CB Capital of Austin. Fuse Workspace's in-house sales director is working with new and prospective members. The property is also listed for sale or lease on the JLL Investor website.
