The White Oak District, an 18.5-acre mixed-use development 1065 FM 967, is set to break ground in the booming suburb of Buda south of Austin.

Austin outfit Moontower Groups' Richard Veregge, Josh Bumb, and Tim Dowling have partnered with also-local MNO Partners’ David Morin, Frank Navarro, and Ryan Othman to build the project.

The Buda City Council unanimously approved an incentive package of up to $2.53M and a performance agreement for the development on August 20.

The city will also provide a fee credit of up to $1.1 million for developers to construct an 8-acre park with a 10-foot walking trail and a pedestrian bridge that allows access to Garlic Creek.

The $27 million project will have a 65,000 square foot site for medical, dental and small offices and 9,000 square feet dedicated to traditional retail and a family-friendly restaurant.

Phase I for The White Oak District is slated to break ground in December 2024.
