An Austin investment firm that specializes in affordable and workforce housing just sank an undisclosed amount into Toscana Apartment Homes, a multifamily property at in the Pond Springs neighborhood of Northwest Austin.
Comunidad Partners bought the 358-unit complex at 13355 North US 183 Highway Service Road from an also undisclosed seller. Built in 2001, Toscana has one-, two-, and three-bedroom units that reserved for households earning between 60 and 120 percent of the area median income.
Residences have stainless steel appliances, faux wood flooring, stone countertops, and individual washers and dryers. Community amenities include a pool, playground, and a pet park.
Comunidad Partners says it will implement a capital improvement program for common areas and living spaces, including installing a pickleball court and adding private yards.
