Massively popular Texas grocery chain H-E-B broke ground Wednesday on a new store in Manor, a suburb about 15 miles northeast of downtown Austin. The 101,000-square-foot store will be Manor’s first H-E-B, which is surely a milestone of some sort or another.

The Manor H-E-B at Hwy 290 and FM 973 will have pharmacy pick-up spaces, a curbside service area, a seven-pump fuel station, and a car wash. Construction is underway, and the opening is scheduled for late 2025. The San Antonio-based grocer operates about 435 stores throughout Texas and Mexico.
