Locally based Resolute Capital purchased a South Austin multifamily property at 2501 Thornton Road in the South Lamar neighborhood in late August.
The 90,549-square-foot Thornton Flats property has 104 units: one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging from $1,876 to $2,711 per month, according to its website. The property was developed by Storybuilt, a locally based company that went into receivership and began selling its properties in development in 2023.
Swiss-based private equity firm Partners Group was the seller. Jesse Mamuhewa and David McCutchan represented Resolute in transaction, which was facilitated by brokers Andrew Dickson and Patton Jones from Newmark.
