Chicago’s Hilco Real Estate Sales is taking bids for the bankruptcy sale of three housing development sites in Austin.

The deadline announces October 7, 2024, as the bid deadline for the Chapter 7 bankruptcy sale of , Texas, subject to approval by the United States Bankruptcy Court (Bankr. W.D. Tex.):

The sites at 2513-2515 San Gabriel Street, 2103 Nueces Street, and 903 Edgecliff Terrace are for sale individually or in any combination.

The San Gabriel Street property is a vacant 0.3 acres or so and is surrounded by apartment complexes, student housing, and fraternities in the West Campus neighborhood adjacent to the University of Texas at Austin.

The 0.19-acre site on Nueces Street is currently home to a two-story, 19-bedroom residential complex that leased to Wranglers, a UT Austin fraternity is zoned to allow for redevelopment as a multifamily building with up to 390 units, according to a press release.

The property at 903 Edgecliff Terrace overlooks Lady Bird Lake on the edge of the Travis Heights neighborhood. It’s currently home to a 4,082-square-foot, single-family home built in 1920 on a 0.26 acre lot.

The sale of 2513-2515 San Gabriel Street and 2103 Nueces Street are being conducted pursuant to the authority of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Western District of Texas (Austin) Case No. 23-10737-smr. The sale of 903 Edgecliff Terrace is being conducted by order of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Western District (Austin) Case No. 23-10736-smr. Bids must be received on or before the bid deadline of October 7 at 5:00 p.m. (CT) and must be submitted on the Asset Purchase and Sale Agreement (PSA) document available for review and download from Hilco Real Estate Sale's website.
