National daycare franchise the Learning Experience will build four new locations in Austin, the Florida-based chain announced Wednesday. The expansion will include 40,000 square feet of new construction and bring 100 full-time jobs to the region, according to the company.
Each location will be a have a new 10,000-square-foot building and a 5,000-square-foot playground. Construction of of each is expected to cost $3.2 million to $3.5 million. Each new center will employ up to 30 staff members and certified teachers, the company says, and serve at least 180 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old.
The Learning Experience has several daycare centers in the Central Texas region. The locations planned to open in the second quarter of this year are at 15054 West State Hwy 71 in Bee Cave and 11924 Ring Drive in Manor.
Austin locations will be at 12112 Anderson Mills Road, planned for the first quarter of 2025, and at US 290 and Ledge Stone Drive, scheduled to open in the third quarter of next year.
The Learning Experience has both both franchise- and corporate owned-sites in each ot its major metro areas, where it typically identifies a market and then establishes franchised sites in the surrounding suburban areas. Franchisees sign 15-year agreements with the company. The company has more than 370 in 29 U.S. states and two UK location. It plans to add 100 new locations in the next two years.
