A master-planned community headed to Georgetown will bring 1,341 homes to the suburb north of Austin.
The 524-acre Nolina development is under construction 8 miles north of the Hwy. 29 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard intersection outside of Georgetown, with offices in the planned community at 610 Golden Sage Avenue.
The single-family homes under construction in are being built by a variety of homebuilders, including Chesmar Homes, Taylor Morrison, Westin Homes, and Perry Homes. Prices are expected to start around $400,000. Johnson Development Services, headquartered in Houston, is the developer.
The community’s 7-acre amenity center, the Wildflower House, broke ground in August. It will have a pool, a splash pad, a park, a fitness studio, and an outdoor lounge area and fire pit. There will also be an event and yoga lawn, a food truck area, and trails that connect to Nolina homes.
Developers also plan 195 build-to-rent homes and roughly 30 acres of commercial retail development.
Homes sales in Nolina are scheduled to begin in early 2024, and the development is expected to be completed in eight to 10 years, according to the developers. A grand opening of seven model homes and the amenity center is slated for April 2024.
